Chargers beat No. 24 Milwaukee Tech, fall to No. 25 WolfPack at Madison Quad

MADISON, Wis. — The Sandburg volleyball team beat one ranked opponent before falling to another at the Madison Quad on Friday.

The Chargers earned a four-set victory over No. 24 Milwaukee Tech to start the afternoon and then fell in three sets to the 25th-ranked host WolfPack to cap the day.

Sophomore Natlie Burden had a career-high 23 kills in the victory over the Stormers. Burden hit .383 on 47 attempts in the match and blew by her previous career high for kills. She had 17 kills Aug. 30 this season against John Wood and Nov. 1 last year against Highland in the quarterfinals of the Region 4 tournament.
