Seei shoots season-low 81 for Chargers at Highland Springs

ROCK ISLAND — Olivia Seei recorded the lowest score this season by a Sandburg women's golfer as the Chargers played at Augustana JV on Wednesday at Highland Springs.

Seei shot a 9-over-par 81 and finished second overall in the dual. It marked the fifth time in six rounds this fall that Seei has posted a score in the 80s.

Seei's round was two shots better than the previous low by a Charger this season. Allie Thome shot an 83 in the first round of the Augustana Highland Classic, and Jessica Schultz matched that mark in the opening round of the Fighting Scot Fall Invite.

Schultz carded an 86 on Wednesday for Sandburg, which also got 92s from Thome and Anna Carroll. Abigail Strode finished with a 93.

Sandburg's 351 total was its second-best round of the fall. The Chargers shot a 343 in the opening round of the Augustana Highland Classic.

The host Vikings didn't field enough players Wednesday to record a team score.
