Sandburg Soccer Puts 3 on All-Arrowhead Conference Team

GALESBURG — The Carl Sandburg College men's soccer team was represented by three players on the 2022 All-Arrowhead Conference Team.

Jean Forestal was voted First-Team All-Arrowhead by league coaches, while teammates Guylberson Camille and Santiago Palacio were named to the Second Team after helping the Chargers to wins in two of their three league matches. For Forestal and Camille, it's their second consecutive season on the all-conference team.

Forestal, a sophomore forward who also was an All-Region IV selection each of the past two seasons, had five goals on 15 shots in Arrowhead play. He scored in each conference match, including two-goal efforts against Illinois Valley and Black Hawk.

Camille, a sophomore wing, put up a goal and an assist in Sandburg's 4-1 victory against Black Hawk on Aug. 30. Overall this season, he totaled four goals and three assists.

Palacio, a sophomore midfielder who joined Forestal on this year's All-Region IV Team, did not record a point in conference play but finished with four assists overall this season.
