Damien Snell and Nathan Hill each doubled in the loss for the Chargers. Snell also stole a base in the contest.
Cruz Paredes tossed a scoreless inning out of the bullpen for Sandburg. Paredes retired all three batters he faced, striking out two. The sophomore had nine of his 12 pitches go for strikes.
